Today was a great day, and it started with a great run. Yep, Jay ran with me this morning. After his return from Afghanistan last night, it was great to get out this morning and stretch our legs together on a nice run. We are staying out on Onslow Beach, which means we heard the waves crash against the beach as we ran. It felt good.
Following our run, we took a cool down walk on the beach to search for our first piece of sea glass this year. We have been searching for sea glass on Onslow Beach since his first tour down here beginning in 2003 and always meet with decent success. Today yielded one clear glass piece :)
