Today OMB issued guidance on how the legislatively-mandated sequestration would hit each account funding fovernment activities. Sounds like a good day to be running doesn't it? I think so. Especially when you need to think about things. Today the remains of the four Americans killed in the Benghazi attack also returned, and the reception at Andrews Air Force Base was emotionally overwhelming. I needed to work out the emotions.
I took off on my normal route, paying attention to life bustling as if nothing negative was happening in the world. And to most it wasn't. Running was the best thing I could do for my brain at this time. It was also good for my legs, which I seem to be neglecting these days. I don't feel like I'm getting in nearly as much running as I could.
Things felt good, the sun felt great, and the movement cleared the brain. Now I'm back to my desk to figure out sequestration again. Happy trails!!!
